The Application of Multiomics in the Gut-brain Axis of Honeybee Model

Introduction:

“Multi-omics” is an integrated approach to investigating complex biological systems and processes. It involves generating and analyzing multiple “-omic” data sets, including genomic, metagenomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, and metabolomic data, using high-throughput sequencing technologies. Using the power of multi-omics, investigators can ask complex, systemic questions, can identify relationships among biomolecules rapidly and efficiently, and can examine details under different conditions and at scale.
