The event brought together a diverse group of individuals, including partners, employees, and customers, to discuss every aspect of Novogene’s journey, from its founding to future plans and employee journeys.
The day began with an address from Novogene’s founder and President, Dr Rui-Qiang Li, who spoke about the company’s mission to make genomics more accessible by building a global network of local laboratories in biotech hotspots. He highlighted the importance of automation and standardized procedures to ensure the high-quality of service and consistency worldwide.
Other notable presentations included Jane Hutchins and Dr David Chaplin’s discussion on the role of Novogene within the Cambridge Science Park and wider scientific community, and Dr Ying-Jie Wang’s overview of Novogene’s support for innovation in Oxford. Novogene’s own Technical Support Supervisor, Dr Shelly Pathak, helped throw some light on the world of Novogene by speaking about her journey as a Novogene employee.
