Martinsried near Munich, December 8th, 2023 – The Innovation and Start-up Center for Biotechnology (IZB), one of the leading biotechnology centers in Europe, and home to over 40 biotech start-ups, today announced the opening of a new genomics laboratory by Novogene, a leading global provider of genomics services and solutions. The recently founded subsidiary Novogene GmbH has decided to open its first laboratory in Martinsried. The lab is expected to be fully operational in early 2024. Alongside its established UK lab, this new facility in Germany will build on Novogene’s global localisation strategy, which brings highly optimised processes coupled with expert local staff to provide an industry leading service to the scientific community in Europe.

Novogene erweitert europäische Aktivitäten mit neuem Genomik-Labor am IZB in München

Martinsried bei München, 8 Dezember 2023 – Das Innovations- und Gründerzentrum Biotechnologie (IZB), eines der führenden Biotechnologiezentren in Europa mit über 40 ansässigen Biotech Start-ups, gab heute die Eröffnung eines neuen Genomik-Labors von Novogene bekannt, einem weltweit führenden Anbieter von Genomik-Dienstleistungen und -Lösungen. Die vor wenigen Wochen neu gegründete Tochtergesellschaft Novogene GmbH hat sich entschlossen, ihr erstes Labor in Martinsried zu eröffnen. Das Labor wird voraussichtlich Anfang 2024 seinen Betrieb vollständig aufnehmen. Neben einem etablierten Labor in Großbritannien wird auch diese neue Einrichtung in Deutschland auf der globalen Lokalisierungsstrategie von Novogene aufbauen, bei der hochgradig optimierte Prozesse in Verbindung mit fachkundigem Personal vor Ort kombiniert werden, um der wissenschaftlichen Gemeinschaft in Europa einen branchenführenden Service zu bieten.
